WASTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

M. VEERAMANI and N. SELVAKUMAR

Abstract

Waste management system suggests, a technique of monitoring and controlling the waste during the manufacturing processes. The actual importance is required to be given on "Design of the product and processes", before the production operations start. The management of the industry should take care on disposing their waste (or) properly recycled for the product manufacturing, if it will not affect the quality of the product. If the above techniques are followed, definitely one can reduce the watages up to some extent and may save the environment. This will also reduce the primary wastes, due to poor R & D. The waste analysis is one of the important tool in the reduction of waste formation. This paper deals with the different management techniques to minimise and control the waste. This system is very useful in improving the productivity and to reduce the product total cost.
